Customer Review: A good idea that could use improvement

This set of measuring spoons has some really great features. The odd sizes being included is very handy. The spoon and handle being designed to sit flat on a counter (although honestly I have not actually put something in one and then set it on the counter like that, but I could see it coming in handy for a liquid measure) and the oval shape, which unlike some round spoons I've had in the past is easier to fit into some smaller spice and seasoning jars are all reasons I chose this set in the first place.
I also chose the set because it looked cool with the metal handle and the red spoon joined together. However, in person I think the plastic looks somewhat cheap and doesn't seem that sturdy. Also, the ring that holds the spoons together is very cheap, it'd be a good idea to go to an office supply store and spend fifty cents to buy a sturdy ring.
Finally, as another reviewer noted, there is no 3/4 t. measure! How silly is that. I have looked at some odd size sets and they didn't have a 3/4 t. either. I wonder why that is?
I'm going to bring this set over to my boyfriend's sometime when we are cooking or baking and then just *oops* leave it there and get myself a new, solid metal set. Or maybe, two sets...one regular and one odd sizes, because another problem with this set is that 9 spoons is a bit much to manage all together like that if you don't want to separate them to use them.
