The Donvier Electronic Yogurt Maker is the best I have ever used. The instructions are clear and easy to understand; the unit is well made and is a breeze to keep clean. The automatic controls free you from having to wonder about the time that the yogurt has been processing. It makes yogurt that far surpasses anything you can buy in the store. This yogurt making machine works as it says it does, which is simple and efficient. Yes, you have to heat up the milk first, too bad, but that's life in the world of homemade yogurt making.. I just ordered a 2nd set of containers so I don't have to wait until I use up all of the one set I've make yogurt in. Buy it, you'll like it. I'm really happy to buy this product. I've used for about a year now and have no complaints. We use a lot of yogurt, in cooking as well as eating and this thing has paid for itself.
We now buy a gallon of milk and only drink the first half. We make yogurt using the other half. That way we keep getting fresh yogurt and also keep drinking fresh milk.

I discovered this yogurt maker from Mireille Guiliano's book, and the instructions to make yogurt without a yogurt machine is to leave the oven on for 6-8 hours with a saucepan of water overnight!!! Sound dangerous.
But anyways this is a nice machine, and I like the indivdual cups of yogurt you can travel with, or make a variety of flavors. Make delicious yogurt, and very easy to use. Highly recommend, for healthy yogurt without additives.
